
12th CRC MOBILE SOURCE AIR TOXICS WORKSHOP

The Coordinating Research Council will be hosting the 12th CRC Mobile Source Air Toxics (MSAT) Workshop on February 10th and 11th, 2026 at the California Air Resources Board Southern California Headquarters in Riverside, CA.
The theme of the 2026 Workshop is on the past, present, and future of mobile source air toxics, and the workshop will feature talks from regulatory, research, and industry experts on the sources, emissions, impacts, and solutions for reducing mobile source air toxics. We encourage submissions on new research and policy directions, as well as project findings from novel groundbreaking research studies on the following topics:
- Modeling and Measurement of MSAT Sources and Emissions
- Modeling and Measurement of Ambient Air Quality Trends of MSATs
- Health and Exposure Assessments of MSATs
- MSAT controls and exposure mitigation solutions
- Regulatory actions, policies, and programs
The 2024 Workshop was co-sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality, California Air Resources Board, and the American Petroleum Institute. It featured sessions on MSAT emissions, exposures, and policy and regulatory opportunities, as well as MSAT emissions from marine sources, and battery electric, hydrogen and alternative fuel vehicles. The event brought together leading scientists, researchers, industry experts, and federal, state and local agencies, and featured regulatory program updates and innovative research findings on mobile source air toxics.

Abstract applications can be submitted as one of the following:
- Platform Presentation
- Poster Presentation
