About the workshop
The Coordinating Research Council is developing plans for the 27th CRC Real World Emissions Workshop. The objective of the workshop is to share information about recent and ongoing research on real world emissions. The main topics of interest are:
- Emissions Modeling
- Improving the Emissions Inventory
- Particulate Matter Emissions
- Measurement Methods: Improvements and New Techniques
- Unregulated Emissions
- Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) and OBD
- Fuel Effects on Exhaust Emissions
- Off-Road / Nonroad Emissions
Researchers from sixteen foreign countries participated in the 2016 workshop, which was co-sponsored by the U.S. EPA, CARB, NREL, and SCAQMD.
The workshop will take place at the Renaissance Long Beach in Long Beach, California. Registration begins at 4:30 pm on Sunday, March 26, followed by a Welcome Reception at 6:00 pm that evening. The workshop will start at 8:00 am on Monday, March 27 and end at approximately 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29th.
There is a two-tiered registration fee for attendees (including presenters): $600 if paid by February 24, 2017, or $700 after that date. The fee includes breakfast, breaks, and lunch each day, and a special dinner event on Monday evening.
